What PayGate does

PayGate turns any HTTP API route into a pay-per-call endpoint settled in stablecoins. A publisher attaches the PayGate middleware (Node.js, Python, or Go SDK) to a route, sets a price per call, and PayGate handles the HTTP 402 payment challenge, on-chain verification, nonce replay protection, and revenue reporting.

Highlights

Stablecoin-native settlement. USDC on Base (chain id 8453) is the primary lane; USD1 on BNB Smart Chain (chain id 56) is the secondary lane.
Publisher self-custody. Funds settle straight to the publisher's wallet — PayGate never holds publisher balances.
Wallet-native checkout. Customers pay from any EIP-1193 wallet; no cards, no accounts, no chargebacks.
x402 protocol. Standard HTTP 402 challenge / response flow with nonce replay protection.
Four billing modes. Per-call (classic x402), prepaid balance, prepaid call packs, and time-pass — pick what fits each endpoint.
